Yes — a UV or LED nail lamp is required to cure the gel strips and activate their long-lasting finish. Most standard LED lamps work great. The curing process takes just 60–90 seconds per hand, and it's what gives you that hard, chip-resistant salon-quality result.

When applied correctly, our semi-cured gel strips last 2+ weeks without chipping or peeling. Many of our customers wear them for up to 14–15 days before removing — not because they've failed, but because the nail has grown out enough to want a fresh set.

Soak a cotton ball in acetone nail polish remover, place it on your nail, and wrap with foil for 10–15 minutes. The strips will lift easily without forcing or peeling. Never force them off dry — this is the most important thing you can do to keep your nails healthy between sets.

The 20-count sets are perfect for one full manicure — they include a range of sizes to fit all 10 fingers. The 30-count sets give you extra strips so you can cover wider nail beds, redo any that don't go on perfectly, or get more than one use out of a single set. We recommend the 30-count if you're new to gel strips or have wider nails.

Absolutely! Our strips come in multiple sizes and work beautifully on short nails. Simply select the size that best fits your nail, apply, and file off any excess at the tip. Short nails actually tend to see even longer wear because there's less leverage for the strip to lift.

Yes — once cured, our gel strips are fully waterproof. You can wash dishes, shower, swim, and go about your life completely normally. That's the beauty of real gel versus regular nail polish or press-ons.

Yes. Each set includes multiple width sizes specifically to accommodate a variety of nail shapes and sizes. Select the strip that fits your nail without touching the skin on either side, and file the tip to your desired shape. If you're between sizes, always go slightly smaller — a strip that's too wide will lift faster.

Start with clean, dry, oil-free nails — this is the most important step. Select the right size strip for each nail, peel, apply from the cuticle down, and press firmly. File off any excess at the tip, then cure under your LED lamp for 60–90 seconds. Avoid getting any strip on the skin or cuticle, as this is the most common cause of early lifting.
